We make network security governable
WABBALABS designs and publishes Wabba-Sego, a platform that orchestrates, governs and keeps its customers' security devices running.
Our mission
Companies run a mixed security estate (microsegmentation, firewalls, proxies, SASE) through consoles where operations are done one by one, with no bulk actions and no common guardrails.
Our mission: give security teams the means to act directly and in bulk, with the certainty of breaking nothing and the ability to prove it.
Wabba-Sego was born in the field: it builds on the experience of a first tool, in service at a customer's, whose Illumio API calls were validated against a real PCE.
WABBALABS was founded by Ramzi Ben Chaabane.
Our principles
They guide every design decision in the product, and come before any other consideration.
Security first
The platform holds the admin access to your devices: it is designed as a prime target.
No change without a dry run
Every write to a device comes after a dry run that shows exactly what will change.
Adapted through configuration
Every customer has its conventions: the platform adapts through configuration, with no custom development.
Modular
A new type of device, a new module; a new vendor, a new connector.
Traceability
Every action is logged: who, what, when, on which device.
What comes next
-
Priority
ITSM integration
ServiceNow first
- Flow opening requests received from the ServiceNow service catalogue; rules built and checked by Wabba-Sego.
- Each plan linked to its change request; approval in ServiceNow or in Wabba-Sego.
- Closure with the plan report.
-
Next
Firewalls module
Governed just like microsegmentation
- Object model, conventions, guardrails and exceptions.
- Flow check and opening, impact, plans.
- Recertification and remediation of non-compliant rules.
-
Later
And beyond
Other devices
- Other microsegmentation vendors.
- Proxy and SASE/SSE.
- Connection to the corporate directory (SSO) and a SaaS offering.
Indicative roadmap, not contractual.
